1 arrested in connection with attempted burglary in 4S Ranch

 4S Ranch attempted burglary suspect getting into patrol car
SAN DIEGO - One person has been taken into custody in connection with an attempted burglary in 4S Ranch.
The incident occurred just after 4 p.m. Wednesday on Holly Leaf Court near Lavender Star Drive.
Two men tried to break into a home, according to the San Diego County Sheriff's Department. It is unclear if the suspects actually made it inside the home. No one was injured and no weapon was seen. It is unknown if anyone was inside the home at the time.
When deputies arrived on scene, they saw one of the two suspects, who ran away.
Just before 6:30 p.m., one suspect was taken into custody in the 9500 block of Lavender Star Drive. He may have been bitten by a sheriff's dog and was being treated at the scene by paramedics.
Deputies are continuing to search for the second suspect.
