Model Kate Upton appears in the 'The Three Stooges' film as a nun who
wears an unholy bikini in a movie that everyone is talking about,
featuring Moe, Larry, and Curly. The 19-year-old's bikini is
accessorized with a nun's habit and crucifix.
In the film, Upton reportedly welcomes the Stooges to the convent, prompting Curly (Will Sasso) to enquire, "Hiya Sister Bernice. There's something different about you, did you get a haircut?"
Upton's Mother Superior, incidentally, is Glee's Jane Lynch.
Actually, Lynch is about as good as it gets, judging by the rest of the cast list. As well as Sasso, Sean Hayes plays Larry, Chris Diamantopoulos is Moe, and there are cameos from Jersey Shore stars J-WOWW and, er, Nicole 'Snooki' Polizzi.
Wikipedia tells me of one critic who says The Three Stooges has been in "development hell" -- apparently, the Farrelly brothers have wanted to make this film since 1996. They originally wanted Sean Penn to play Larry, Benicio del Toro to play Moe and Jim Carrey to play Curly. Alas, they ended up with a slightly more budget version of that famous trio.
Upton does a great job in her film debut and the movie itself has received good reviews.
